As most of you know this has been a very difficult 20 months for us. I have been fighting the "new" type of breast cancer called IBC, Inflammatory breast cancer, ( which has now been designated the MOST aggressive breast cancer there is. ) Unfortunately, it is NOT detected by a mammogram and is like a nest or spider web that rests on your chest wall. It is called the "new silent killer" and has usually spread by the time it is detected. Please check into this or feel free to call or e-mail me if you have questions, as this is so important!

I went through a year of serious aggressive chemo until Sept, 08.

I went back to flying for Delta in Nov 08 for two months until I could have my next cancer surgery. I thought I needed to get a few more things in my "bucket"!

During that time many sad and bad things occurred. Terry's only sister Sherry (who was 51 and born exactly 2 yrs to the day from Terry) had a stroke and died 6 days later the first week of Dec. It was another devastating blow to our family. About 10 days later Terry ended up in the hospital for a week with double pneumonia and blood sugar of 500.

I herniated my back the end of Dec and had back surgery on Jan 7, 09 instead of cancer surgery! That was a pain like nothing I have ever experienced and I am so thankful to Dr Poletti.

I did have the 10 hr micro DIEP flap surgery on Jan 28. That was a tough one as I was filleted like a fish and feel like I have been run over by two freight trains!

Last week I had blood clots and ended up in the hospital again for a third surgery! Enough of this already~!

Today all the doctors said things were looking up so we are praying this year brings good things.

This brings us to the point of our farm. :(

We will be drastically downsizing due to all of the health problems and having to spend more time back near Terry's family. We will be selling the foals and many of our great mares. We will also be cutting down on the stallions and selling this farm so we can move back closer to Terry and my families in Dorchester County.

We are open to suggestions and are looking for good homes for our horses who have had to do just about everything possible. If you are interested in some wonderful horses that have had to ride, show, have babies, and almost anything else you can think of, we have quite a few of those. We would love to send some of our horses to our previous buyers or to good families that will take good care of them and love them as we do.

2009 filly by Ms Dee Bars Star and Cinemax Dee Bar.

Gorgeous big chestnut loud overo filly that will halter and ride. EXC conformation. This filly is smart and beautiful. Both parents are big well bred horses with nice conformations. This filly has the potential to be a nice show prospect.

Norfleet Sunshine:

Sunshine is a pretty buckskin tobiano mare that has been green broke and has been very easy to ride and handle. She hasn't been ridden a lot but has never had any problem under saddle and hasn't had any problems with being handled. She has no vices and has just had her second foal. She carries the buckskin gene and has a World Champion pedigree. + She is ready to be your next beautiful trail horse or wp mare. Sells in foal for May 2010. $2500

For Sale/Lease: Double O Snow, '00 APHA Sorrel Overo Gelding

"Snow" is professionally schooled for both English and Western pleasure and is an excellent versatility candidate. His greatest performances are in combined training where he excels equally in dressage and over fences. Snow is a very bold, beautiful mover, a round, tight kneed jumper who easily clears 3'3". He has a much longer stride than his 15.1 H size suggests. He is show-worthy, having competed in US Dressage Federation Events and in NC State 4-H competition. Charmin Sterling Lace

Sterling Cool McCue: A fabulously smart well bred colt that wants to be a family, kids horse.

Sterling is a 3 yr old stud that has a champion pedigree from both sides to be a great show horse. His sire is an APHA point earner in Western riding and working cattle. His dam is a jumper and APHA point earner in Hunter Hack. Grandsire's on both sides are great show horses, Mr Summer Classic,(183 pts) and Black Sterling AB.(56 pts).

Sterling seems to have no interest in the girls and rides great even when they are around. He seems to like the woods and trails more than the breeding pen.

We are selling most of our horses due to my cancer but want to place them in the right homes.

This colt has the pedigree to produce nice offspring as a stallion, but seems to want to be a gelding as he loves kids and is so easy and gentle with everyone. He could very easily make a wonderful youth prospect if gelded or a great trail horse for most anyone.

JJ Norfleet Reo:

Reo is a beautiful well bred buckskin overo mare that has been such a pleasure to own. She has had beautiful foals that have become smart show and trail horses, as well as nice stallions. She has always been healthy, sound, and had great babies. This mare is VERY easy to handle and is a great trail horse. She was used summer 08 as a camp horse in NC for young riders. She has NO vices and no health problems. Sells in foal for 09. Will negotiate price in order to retain 09 foal. A great horse for any level to trail ride or show. Rides both English and Western. $3000 call for pedigree or more information.

Princess Lucky Star: Princess is a big 16H English hunter type mare. She is fine on trail rides, and rides both Western and English.She seems to prefer English, and has a great extended trot. She could easily be a jumper with a little training. She is an easy keeper, has no vices, great feet, trailers well, and has beautiful babies. Her dams side are all appendix QH and TB's. She is a gd of Clusive San Man, (my Dixies sire). This is a well bred, big pretty mare that really needs to be in the show ring, and that's not possible for us at this time.
